Josh Hawley Says He Will Object Biden’s Election Victory in the Senate

Josh Hawley, a Republican from Missouri, is the first Senator to jump on board with a movement forming in the House to object Biden’s victory. Republican Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell has made it clear he does not want to force a vote on individual states results in the Senate and has acknowledged Biden as the next President.

This challenge will certainly fail but that does not mean it isn’t substantial, this is very note worthy as we are truly seeing the cracks forming in the Republican party. I wrote before about how Trump would tear the GOP apart and I think Congress having to certify the election is when you will see the first major cracks start to form.

Trumpism is here to stay and people within the Republican party will have to decide if they will hitch themselves and stay on board the Trump train or move on. You are already seeing the 2 Republican candidates in Georgia, Perdue and Loeffler, having to deal with this issue, as they desperately need to keep the support of Trump people in order to win their respective races.

Everyone on the left should absolutely love this. We have had to dealing with, and still will deal with, enormous infighting within the Democratic party so it is nice to see the other side start to divide amongst themselves as well.

This could just be a loud minority speaking out but I have seen many Trump people saying they want to start a new party, the Patriot Party is the name I have seen the most, and break away from the GOP. I could honestly see this happening as Trump has the funding and support base to get his own party off the ground.

Things are about to go down in January and we should all be excited to see how this plays out within the GOP, the left has a great opportunity forming in front of them and I hope we can take advantage.
