Earlier today the House made a historic move, passing through a bill that would decriminalize weed on a federal level. Now, we are still, most likely, a long way away from actually getting weed decriminalized federally but the house passing it is a huge step in the right direction.
This bill passing through the House makes winning the 2 run-off elections in Georgia even more important. Of course a Democrat controlled Senate does not guarantee they would pass this bill as there are still plenty of Democrats still stuck in the mud, however, it would definitely have a better chance than under a Republican Senate lead by Mitch McConnell.
The best way to help the Democrats take control of the Senate is to phone bank and make sure Georgia voters are registered and active. Here are the 2 organizations I’m going through to phone bank and I would highly recommend them as they both do fantastic other work as well.

We still have a long way to go on legal weed and ending the corrupt war on drugs but this is a nice and necessary step.
