A recent video by Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk brought this situation to my attention, the left has a chance to notch a small victory in California. With Kamala’s senate seat now vacated, Gavin Newsome will choose who will fill it. The left needs to get active to help push a progressive into that seat.

There is a list of contacts for Gavin Newsome, contact and let him know that we want Ro Khanna in the Senate. We have great bargaining power here as Bernie Sanders won the California primary over Biden so clearly California is looking for progressive leadership.
Here is what I suggest, contact Newsome and use a respectful but direct tone and say something like this:
“Hi Governor Newsome, I am just calling to say that I would really like you to pick Ro Khanna for the vacant Senate seat. Considering Bernie Sanders won the California primary I think it’s only fair you pick a progressive to fill this seat and if you do it is something progressives would be incredibly thankful for and something we would absolutely remember you doing for us, thank you and again please pick Ro Khanna for the vacant Senate seat.”
Gavin Newsome has large political aspirations and scoring points with the left would be a big boast to his political career.
Make sure you get out and get the word out for Ro Khanna and also make sure you check out Kyle over at Secular Talk, he makes great content and is definitely a voice worth listening to.
